A traditional healer allegedly dug up a strange goblin in front of Vusi Ramalatso and his wife at their home in Mapetla, Soweto, SA.
It was a clay head with feathers and eyes. They were told it was planted there to make their lives miserable.
The traditional healer broke it and out popped two knives, a toy gun and a bloodied pad.
Vusi said his life was hell before the muthi was dug up.
"We couldn't sleep peacefully for six years. Things walked on the roof and I fought a lot with my wife," he said.
He said his wife was struggling to conceive.
"The sangoma told us the pad in the head was to curse my wife not to have children."
"My wife kept on waking up feeling weak as the bed bugs drained too much blood from her.
"The sangoma told us the bites were meant for her to leave the house and never come back so I would be a lonely man," said Vusi.
"I hope things will go back to normal. We have suffered enough, we pray to God to chase them," he said.
The traditional healer burned the muthi and told the couple they will never suffer again.
